CHOPPER KIT PROTOTYPE BIKE

FOR SALE:

This is the prototype for our chopper kit.   The idea for this bike started over ten years ago.   But back then, it wasn't possible to build.   Only in the last couple of years have enough repo. parts become available, that it is now possible to build a completely new motorcycle like this.   The idea was to re-create the typical street chop of the mid to late sixties.   Incorporate enough of today's technology into the bike to make it better.  But not enough to spoil the flavor of the bike.   This bike is the result of our efforts.   The bike is based on a new 74" replica Panhead motor.   Built with S&S super stock cases, oil pump, rods and flywheels. 8.5:1 pistons with Hasting rings and
replica FLH cam.   This motor pumps 35 psi of oil pressure at idle, instead of the 8 psi of a stock HD Pan.   The heads are STD with 3 bolt exhaust flanges and late style o-ring manifold connections.   Carburetor is an S&S "E". The motor also features a auto advance distributor.   The Transmission is a late style '65 to '69 4 speed with a 3.00:1 ratio.   Chrome side cover and polished ratchet top.   Connected to the motor thru a 8mm BDL belt drive hidden inside the chrome diamond primary covers.   The frame started as a '48 Replica from V-Twin. The rake was left stock, but the extra brackets were removed, the seat area was plated in and the frame was molded in sixties style.   The paint is custom mixed 1928 Indian red (PPG) over
PPG epoxy primer covered with PPG clear coat.   The forks are a 4" over replica of the original HD Knucklehead springer built in Austria.   The wheels are 21" in front and stock style 16" in the rear, both with chrome star hubs, stainless spokes and period correct Avon tires.   Exhaust is from Paughco and the leather replica Bates solo racing seat and pillion pad are from Corbin.   The sissy bar is custom fabricated from 5/8" stainless bar stock.   This bike is about as period correct as is possible today.   Right down to the Anderson foot pegs, Bates risers and headlight to the replica stainless '34 Ford taillight.   This bike is all new, built with new aftermarket reproduction and custom parts.   "0" miles on this bike, we just rode around the building
a few times!!   Way too many hand fabricated  and polished parts to mention.   There is only one HD part on this bike....the horn.   This bike rides, feels and smells like 1965 and
turns heads everywhere it goes....

$25,000.00  This bike is tagged and titled in Florida as a '48 HD.
