OLD IRON CROSS BACK PATCH These were made in 1969 or '70, I can't remember exactly when?
They are all hand done, no computer, pin or tape machine was used. They
are full embroider on real wool felt NOT POLYFELT, so they will last
nearly forever. They were a little grubby so I dry cleaned
them and the came out great, they look almost new!! Then I put
patch sealer on the back. These are large aprox. 10"x 10".
I have had one of these on my cut-off since they were made way back when
and it's still in fine shape. I get a lot of positive comments
on it. Nothing says Chopper like this patch!!! |

ORIGINAL RIDE WITH THE REAPER BACK PATCH I
was digging thru piles of boxes in my warehouse and ran across these old
Reaper patches. I had no idea they were there, thought they were long
gone!! The Reaper back patch was the largest patch I ever made. It
measures 15" tall and 10-1/3" wide. This Cool old patch from 1971, the
same year Easyriders magazine started, is all handmade. Done freehand from
a paper pattern. No computer, pin or tape machine was used, all
FREEHAND!!! No one does this any more, not even me... It's done appliqué
style in 10 colors on REAL WOOL patch felt, not polyfelt. I applied patch
sealer to the back to stabilize it. This patch is very collectable, or
just wear it!! One of the coolest chopper patches I ever did... |
